The Bishop of Galle, the Vicar General, the Episcopal Vicar of the Diocese of Galle and many priests, religious and lay faithful flocked together to bless and the New Church dedicated to Blessed Teresa of Culcutta yesterday. (24th Jan. 2012)

 Nearly 800 people took part in the ceremony which lasted for about two and half hours.  There was great rejoicing and thanksgiving and moments of recounts of God's wonderful presence throughout the process of this building.

 Mr. Paul (thaththa) and his extended family and friends from Panadura, Moratuwa and many other cities came in numbers to harvest the fruits of their labour.  

The people of Thalgaswala have done their best to make this joyful ceremony a success.  Their hospitality and devotion, great respect and discipline were exemplary.  

We thank God for this day and wish that there will be great praises and worship in this House of God in the days to come.
