A Multipurpose Office Complex and a Community Center for  Codesep (Community Development Service for Plantations) was declared open on 29th  of August, 2009. This project was sponsored by Progetto Sud, Italy. Very Rev. Fr. Nihal Nanayakkara, the Galle Diocesan administrator, Mr. Roberto Bon Vicini, the project coordinator of Progetto Sud, Rev. Fr. Michael Rajendram, the Director of Codesep, Rev. Fathers, Rev. Sisters, Government officials and many other distinguished guests were present at this occasion. Porgetto Sud also donated several computers to support the educational needs of Plantation Children. We are ever grateful to His Lordship Bishop Harold Anthony Perera, our former Bishop and the present Bishop of Kurunegala and Rev. Fr. Raymond Wickramasinghe for their instrumentality in successfully completing this project.
